IAB NZ Mix & Mentor Event

IAB X AUT Mentorship Advertising

Curious about a future in digital advertising?
IAB New Zealand - the industry body for Aotearoa’s digital advertising sector - is hosting its annual Mix & Mentor session for AUT and UoA  students. We know it can be tricky to figure out what  happens in an industry until you actually get to talk to the people in it, and that’s what this session is all about. It'll give you a chance to ask any questions, and meet the experts.

What you can expect in this two-hour session:

🎤 Ask anything in an open Q&A with industry experts (you can use a mic or Slido and anonymous questions are welcome). See below for our panel of expert speakers.

📊 Learn how the industry works,  from creative and media to data, tech, and strategy.

🤝 Meet the people shaping the Aotearoa digital advertising industry. Connect with professionals, IAB NZ Council leaders, and member organisations in a relaxed networking session. (Light refreshments included!)

Mentorship Opportunity:
A limited number of 6-month mentorships with digital advertising professionals will be offered after the event. This is optional and you are welcome to attend the event without signing up for a mentor. Spots are limited and not guaranteed, so let us know when you register if you’d like to be considered. You’ll also be able to choose your areas of interest when you register. Please make sure you read and understand the Terms & Conditions.

👉 Please note: This programme is not about job placements or interviews. It’s about learning, building connections, and getting guidance from people already working in the industry.

This is a free event for AUT and UoA students. Spaces and mentorships are limited. Registration is required to attend and numbers are limited.

Thank you to Google for supporting this initiative and hosting the event.
