Every now and then we like to highlight a new IAB New Zealand Member that we think our community will find interesting. Today we meet Richard Pook, Co-Founder of Youdooh.
Please give us some historical background about Youdooh as a company, and your journey so far:
Youdooh was founded in 2024 by myself and Bram Stevens, with backing from MBM founders Matt Bale and Sean McCready. We recently launched our product into the New Zealand market.
Do you have a hero product or service that you're most proud of?
Youdooh is a new digital-out-of-home (DOOH) self-serve platform that's 100% locally built. If you’re a business owner or advertiser with a credit card, with youdooh you can now buy and run an outdoor ad campaign on over 3,000 screens in NZ - choose from billboards, bus shelters, train stations, retail screens and many more.
Tell us a little bit about your company's mission and vision:
We’re on a mission to make DOOH advertising accessible to everyone and as easy as buying Meta and Google ads.
If you could describe your work style as an animal, which animal would it be and why?
Probably an ant or maybe a bee. Working hard (no subsitute for it!) and getting things done 🐝
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, or like to share with others?
The time is almost always right now. What are you waiting for?
