Stuff Digital has launched HealthStuff, a new health and wellness destination on stuff.co.nz, backed by medical experts and supported by Chemist Warehouse.
The launch follows a 12-week national study into the health and habits of New Zealanders, which found that many Kiwis feel overwhelmed by the volume of AI-generated and social media health advice and uncertain about how much of it to trust. HealthStuff is designed to cut through that noise, bringing together GPs, psychiatrists, pharmacists and lifestyle coaches to answer real questions and offer practical, expert-backed guidance.
Alongside editorial content, the platform launches with a Health Comparison Tool built from Stuff's inaugural Health of the Nation study. The tool lets users benchmark their own habits, from sleep and alcohol consumption to health issues, against a nationally representative sample of New Zealanders.
Stuff Owner and Publisher Sinead Boucher says the goal is simple: help Kiwis make positive changes with content they can actually trust. Stuff Digital Commercial Director Jaana Collins adds that the platform also reflects Stuff's commitment to creating quality environments for commercial partners, with a number of new integrations set to roll out in the coming weeks.
Justen Duggan, Group Media Director of Chemist Warehouse agency Stratosphere, says the partnership was built on a shared belief that more Kiwis deserve access to credible, science-backed health information, particularly at a time when misinformation online is growing.
