Outbrain Brings Industry-First Training & Certification Programme to New Zealand

Outbrain Academy drives new level of expertise in content discovery and makes its debut in Auckland after a successful launch in Australia & Singapore earlier this year
Auckland, 3 October, 2016 – Premium content discovery platform, Outbrain is announcing today the launch of its proprietary training and certification programme – called Outbrain Academy – in New Zealand, following its May 2016 debut in Australia.
The training and certification programme is designed to provide digital professionals with advanced skills and the best-practice methodologies required to get the most out of Outbrain’s powerful Amplify platform. This follows the recent launch of Outbrain’s Amplify Self-Serve platform in New Zealand - an extension to Outbrain’s core offering that will enable brands in New Zealand to manage their own content campaigns across device and drive targeted and engaged audiences to their digital content.
Outbrain Academy - an industry-first for video and content discovery - comes at a time when the industry is embracing increased investment in native content discovery, as well as talent and skillset development priorities. Its aim is to help digital marketing & media professionals differentiate themselves in a competitive market, and provides the industry with a better understanding of the full-range of Outbrain Amplify solutions to help brands maximise ROI.

The first instalment of Outbrain Academy in New Zealand will take place in Auckland. Scheduled over two days on Tuesday, 11th and Wednesday, 12th October it will be conducted in person by Outbrain’s expert team.

Over the one day course representatives from major brands, media and content agencies including, among others, OMD, MBM, Carat, ZenithOptimedia and Starcom will be led in the development of practical skills and Outbrain best practices. These will include campaign setup and management, measurement and performance optimisation and video storytelling to drive business results. Participants will also benefit from staying up-to-date and seeing new capabilities while in beta and ahead of the market.
Additional course dates for eligible executives will be released in due course.
