Website ranking of the ten channels in Nielsen Market Intelligence NZ domestic traffic that attract the highest percentage of people who use the Internet for 20 hours or more per week, for the month of August 2010*.

The rankings do not show which websites have the actual highest traffic numbers (ie total number of unique browsers) of this demographic, but instead show which sites have the highest percentage of their traffic consisting of people who say they use the Internet for 20 hours or more per week, for the month of August. For example, techday.co.nz is the number one ranking because 38 percent of its unique browsers meet the demographic requirement, but their total number of matched unique browsers equals 8,581. geekzone.co.nz on the other hand, in seventh place, has 33.1 percent of its unique browsers that meet the demographic requirement but their total number of matched unique browsers equals a high 40,436.

To put these numbers into perspective, the proportion of New Zealand Internet users who say they use the internet for 20 hours or more per week is currently 19.8 percent.
