Online measurement options in NZ - an explanation

Online metrics is a hot topic. For many years, the NZ online advertising industry has supported a single model, but now faces a number of options. IAB Australia recently awarded The Nielsen Company as preferred supplier however the tender process to select a preferred online research company, equated to thousands of dollars and a lot of resource – something the IAB NZ is not in a position to do ourselves. Instead, our approach is to provide the New Zealand industry with objective information on the existing research methodologies available.
