Yahoo, Microsoft may finally seal a deal

After months of on-and-off negotiations between Yahoo and Microsoft last year, the two search demigods resumed talks over a possible advertising agreement, according to a source cited by the New York Times.
A cordial but cool entente has existed between the pair ever since Carol Bartz took the helm as Yahoo's chief executive in January. However, Ms. Bartz recently met with Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer, according to the source - who wished to remain anonymous because the talks are confidential.
