Women dominate UK internet population

The UK internet population is split between males at 51.5% and females at 48.5%, but women are spending longer online than men.

According to Nielsen/NetRatings data released this month, 27% more of total time spent online is accounted for by women aged 18-34, than by men in the same age group.
