US newspaper online ad spend grows 21.1%

Newspaper website advertising now accounts for 7.1% of total newspaper ad spend.

It was the 14th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth since the NAA began reporting online ad spend figures in 2004.

Spending on print ads in newspapers fell 9% compared with Q3 last year.
