Online to outsell newspaper ads in the US

Online advertising will overtake newspaper advertising in the US by 2011. An annual research report by Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS) published this week forecasts the continuing shift of advertising spending from traditional media to online and digital across the globe. It predicts online advertising will grow by more than 21% per year in the US, reaching US$62 billion by 2011, compared with US$60 billion for newspaper advertising.
