Online advertising booming in Europe

Online advertising spending in the 13 countries of the IAB Europe network was 8.003 billion Euros in 2006, according to an IAB Europe report "Pan-European Online Advertising Spend" analysed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
The UK leads, with 39% share of the total, followed by Germany, France and the Netherlands. A report by GroupM predicts that online advertising will account for 18% of all media spending in the UK this year.
