It has been a successful month for nzherald.co.nz, New Zealand’s leading online news site. The site smashed hourly, daily, weekly and monthly traffic records and by the end of July 2008, more than 2.3 million unique browsers had viewed over 57 million page impressions.
The severe weather conditions was the hottest topic on the site last week as New Zealanders frequently visited the site to view the latest photos from the storms that hit the country. Last week alone, the site recorded a staggering 358% increase in the number of photo gallery pages viewed compared to an average week during the previous 90 days.
