Mums going online in droves

An October 2007 survey by the US Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration found that 86.5% of households consisting of a married couple with children under 18 had internet access either at home or some other location. In family households without children, 73.1% had internet access and in non-family households the figure was 58.5%.
