Minister for Communications and IT announced that the Digital Future Summit will be held in Auckland on November 28th and 29th at the Hyatt Regency hotel.

The Summit aims to gather "New Zealanders who are keen to contribute and participate in Information and Communications Technologies underpinning New Zealand’s economic, social and export growth objectives".

The theme of the summit is "What is the changing economic, community, environment and cultural landscape in New Zealand and how do we maximise 'being digital' to address the challenges?"
