Microsoft withdraws bid for Yahoo

At a meeting on Saturday morning in Seattle between Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer and Kevin Johnson, and Jerry Yang and David Filo from Yahoo, Microsoft is said to have lifted its bid to US$33 a share. However Yahoo refused to sell for less than US$37 a share, and talks broke down.
