It looks like rugby…but it ain’t – Special win September BollyAward

Special Group wins the September BollyAward with an interactive banner for their client, Mediaworks TV. The judges found it a “simple idea that made them smile”. Special win a crate of NZ wine valued at $500 including a bottle of Champagne Bollinger. Media was placed by Mediaworks TV & phdiq.

A special mention goes to DDB’s McDonalds campaign “Chicken so tasty it sells itself,” featuring (or not so much in this case) the infamous Shane Warne which the judges felt was a nice extension to the overall campaign. And for that they get to pop the cork on a bottle of Champagne Bollinger.

The judges this month were Jon Edmonds (Touchpoint); Claire Stapleton (Y&R) and Justin Jones (.99).

The BollyAwards are all about encouraging great kiwi made online creative. “We’ve had some notable entries this year and we’re looking forward to the last round in November. We are currently working on putting together an annual prize and award celebration. More details along with a flash new BollyAwards site will be announced next year. In the meantime, entries close 2nd November and I’m sure that box of wine will come in very handy for all those xmas parties around the corner.” IAB general manager, Alisa Higgins.
