Clickz says Feedburner, which manages about 700,000 feeds owned by 400,000 publishers, is to be purchased by Google. Feedburner's users use the service to manage their newsfeeds, and to measure user interaction with the feeds. Some of the feeds also carry advertising booked by Feedburner. The value of the Google deal is rumoured by Techcrunch to be around US$100 million.
