Females to outnumber males online in UK

While the UK internet population is predicted to grow 12.3% from 2008 to 2012, the number of females online will grow 14.6% during the same period.

Women are also spending nearly as much time online as men, says eMarketer, and those aged 25-49 spend more time online than men in the same age group.
