Microsoft has agreed to buy online advertising firm aQuantive for $6 billion, and plans to use it to develop new media ad systems. aQuantive comprises three primary brands: DRIVEpm, Avenue A Razorfish, and Atlas. The deal is expected to be finalised in Q1 2008.
