Ad growth slows for Internet giants

The big online companies such as Yahoo, AOL and Cnet are reporting slowing growth as online advertisers spread their spend across more sites. Display ads can be had more cheaply elsewhere, and social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace are benefiting from the shift away from established players.
