US marketers to up spending in cable, online, mobile in next 6 months

The Advertiser Optimism Report -- a survey of marketers by Advertiser Perceptions -- reveals an overall drop in optimism across media since the survey was last conducted in the spring. But 68% of those polled said they expect to raise their online spending, and 51% expect to spend more on mobile. Randy Cohen, a principal at Advertiser Perceptions, said, "We're seeing less slowing in media that's more accountable and targetable." Read more...
