According to a press-release from TVNZ corporate, Fairfax and TVNZ have inked a deal allowing Fairfax to publish video content from One News, replacing the content previously provided by TV3's "3 News"

Google Gears to provide offline browsing

Google has announced the beta launch of an open-source browser plugin that allows users to browse content offline. The plugin offers similar capability to the previously announced offline capability to be included in Mozilla's Firefox with the next release, but is cross-browser capable.

Ebay snaps up StumbleUpon

US interactive revenues close on US$17 billion this year says IAB

According to IAB US, interactive advertising spend in the US for the 2006 calendar year hit close to US$17 billion. Final figures for Q4 2006 have been released, and totalled US$4.8 billion for the quarter. Overall spending increased 35% over 2005 figures.
