After 8 years in the business, Managing Director John Schofield is shifting focus to head a new initiative for the Mitchell Communication Group.  Deborah Davenport replaces Schofield as Managing Director at The Internet Bureau, and Simon Gooding will move into the Commercial Director role.

“The last 8 years have been incredibly satisfying, creating and building a business that truly delivers to its promise of making online advertising more accessible, more effective and more efficient for New Zealand advertising agencies and their clients” says Schofield.

“We’ve continued to invest in the capabilities of The Internet Bureau to ensure our clients stay at the leading edge of online advertising now and in the future. Along the way we’ve gained a reputation for consistency, professionalism and integrity – and I’m pleased to be leaving the business in very good hands with Deborah, Simon and the rest of the team to continue building on that base.

Deborah Davenport joined The Internet Bureau in 2001 and has been an integral part of the leadership team ever since. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of running the business.  This is an industry that is constantly changing and evolving so we’ve always worked hard to keep our clients ahead.  One thing that will never change is our commitment to helping New Zealand advertising agencies and their clients grow and develop their use of online advertising”.

Congratulations John on the changes, and on the launch of Catch! and to Deb and Simon for their promotions. Nice one.
