Redefining Mobile Tracking, Measurement & Attribution
Thu, 11 Oct 2018
Join us on Tuesday 13 November at 7.30am for a brief presentation of the Q3 2018 Ad-spend report followed by a panel of industry leading experts discussing the current situation for Mobile Tracking, Measurement & Attribution (TMA). The panel will be facilitated by Michael Buhagiar of Big Mobile (Chair of the IABNZ Mobile Advertising Council).
Michael will present key findings from a comprehensive IABNZ Mobile Advertising Council TMA Survey in June to 24 agencies from Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Napier & Christchurch.
It is clear from the research that there is a overwhelming reliance on Campaign Manager and Google Analytics by media buying agencies with over 80% of respondents using both tools.
So how do agencies allow for the variety of challenges mobile has across operating systems, in-app vs. browser and a reliance on last click attribution which can also be skewed to desktop and search?
These results will be discussed with a leading panel of industry experts including:
From left to right...
Michael Buhagiar, Country Director, Big Mobile (Chair of the IABNZ Mobile Advertising Council) and panel facilitator
Craig Whitaker, Senior Platforms Consultant at Google
Jake Calder, Programmatic Account Director at FCB Media
Katy Doran, ANZ Client Partner at Oracle Data Cloud
Nathan Brown, Digital Performance Lead, Brand & Insights at Vodafone NZ
The panel will not be pulling any punches and the findings will give excellent insight to the challenges our industry as a whole faces with measuring and attributing mobile campaigns effectively.
